Lion
Seventeenth story
One day a European farmer had many cows the race used in Africa. His dream was a
bull, a breeder. So, he travelled to Portugal, he bought the best bull, the race
used in his region/country of Portugal. He put the bull in the liner and brought
it to his farm in Mozambique.
Happy he was and with proud he showed it to other farmers and the native people.
He pitched a fence, an ox fence, with barbed wire to protect his bull and the cows.
One night it all happened with suddenness. The lion started killing the dogs! The farmer awakened with a terrible din, he heard moos, bellows and roars all in high-pitched noises and turmoil! He got the rifle, ran to the cow-shed, to the ox-stall and saw a lion dragging a cow and scrutinized where the bull it was. Too late. The bull was already dead!!
The farmer fired repeatedly.
But:
his heart, feelings and dreams died with the bull.
